The MS in Robotics will be hosting an open house where current students demonstrate the projects that they've been working on. From 1-3 the event is open to all of McCormick and the general public, and then from 3-5 there is an invite-only session with external industry contacts. There will definitely be some interesting projects on display so feel free to join.

The 11th IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, August 24 to 28, 2015. IEEE CASE is the flagship automation conference of the IEEE RAS and constitutes the primary forum for cross-industry and multidisciplinary research in automation.

The 2015 IEEE ICRA Conference is taking place in Seattle, Washington.  Several members of the NxR Lab will be presenting papers on their current research.

On Thursday, May 21, the Museum of Science and Industry will unveil its new robotics exhibit, Robot Revolution. For the past few years, Northwestern faculty and other international robotics experts have served as advisers to this project. In honor of the exhibit’s opening, two of those experts will speak at Northwestern’s Robot Revolution symposium.The symposium will open with a technical talk on machine learning for robotics, followed by a broad audience talk on the future of robotics in manufacturing.
