Katie Fitzsimons

The main goal of my research is to develop assistive algorithms for robotic training and therapy, which support the human without overconstraining them. Specifically, I am interested in methods that inherently take into account the natural variation of human movement and mechanically filter user inputs based on the future impact of their current actions. My research also focuses on using information measures to evaluate user skill and assess deficit.
